Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TekFidelity (“TekFidelity,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the TekFidelityIQ platform and website (the “Service”).

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we process your email address and authentication details through our identity provider (Supabase).
• Contact information. If you email us (e.g. to request a Wi-Fi Health Review), we receive the contents of that message.
• Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand site performance and usage. These do not use tracking cookies and are not used to identify you.
• Cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a separate signed cookie for the public demo. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
• Organization information. When you create or join an organization, we store its name, plan tier, subscription status, and the roles and membership of the accounts within it.
• Network and monitoring data. For paid subscribers, we collect network telemetry from your connected sites via the Edge Connector and any integrations you enable — including AP/site health metrics, alerts, root-cause and diagnostic findings — to provide the Service. The public preview at /demo shows sample data only and collects nothing from your network.
• Vault credentials. WiFi passwords (SSID/PSK) and third-party integration API keys you store are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, applied by the Service before the data reaches the database, in addition to the database provider’s own encryption. Decryption happens only server-side, on demand, and is audit-logged.
• Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor — your card details are entered directly on Stripe’s hosted checkout page and are never received or stored by TekFidelityIQ. We store your subscription plan, status, billing period, and a Stripe customer reference ID to manage your subscription.

How we use information

• To provide, secure, and operate the Service and authenticate you.
• To respond to your inquiries and support requests.
• To monitor performance and improve the Service.
• To detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contract and limited to what is necessary:

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• Vercel — hosting and aggregate analytics.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions. Stripe receives your billing details directly; we do not.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/HSTS), access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
